I have to admit this would be more exciting if there was a real firecracker involved in the making of this cocktail, but I don't want my face being blown up and I certainly want you to keep your pretty mug intact as well! The Firecracker Cocktail is a layered libation is pretty and patriotic with a tart and very sweet flavor. The taste reminds me of a melted bomb pop!
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Vodka
1 oz. Lemon juice
1.5 oz Blue curacao
1 oz. Grenadine
Splash of simple syrup
Method:
Take a tall ice filled glass and slowly add grenadine, then slowly add the blue curacao-the weight of the liquids are different so the blue curacao will float on top of the grenadine. In an ice-filled cocktail shaker add the vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup, shake and slowly pour into the tall glass.
