I'm so honored to be surrounded by talented business owners on our #RetroBlockTonawanda, and Sweet Heart Pin Up is the place to be this spooky season! 

Destiny ~ the owner ~ encouraged me to take advantage of her Halloween special to showcase a few pieces from our Everyday is Halloween Collection. They fit so nicely into her set designs!

About Sweet Heart Pinup

Sweet Heart Pin Up began in 2010, when Destiny moved back to Buffalo NY from Los Angeles, CA. While living in LA Destiny worked in all aspects of the photoshoot industry. From dressing celebrities, to doing hair and makeup, she even modeled and taught pose coaching for other photographers.

The West Coast provided her a huge insight into the Pin-up, Rockabilly, and Burlesque communities and Destiny soaked it all up like a sponge. From vintage fashion to vintage hairstyles. 

When she opened Sweet Heart Pin Up she could not wait to share everything she learned with people who came in. She has a vast collection of wardrobes for use in sizes small- 4xl, vintage and modern lingerie, dresses, costumes, lavish robes and more!
Her studio has 2 floors and eighteen “Hollywood” like sets to choose from for every kind of photoshoot from headshots, boudoir, spooky to pinup and so much more! That's the nice part, they are all in one place! Destiny told me, “Every set at the studio took a little over a year to perfect. They all start off as sketches first, then building and painting, then hunting for all the vintage elements. A lot of times I travel all over to collect things for each one.”
When you come in for a shoot, she makes it so easy, she does all the hair, makeup, makes wardrobe & pose suggestions, stylizes the lighting, takes all the photos, edits the photos, and is with you every step of the way.

“I think of a photoshoot as an investment in self-love. I want my clients to relax as if they were at a spa, I will do all the work and take all that pressure off their shoulders.”
She has also become known for her vintage hair and makeup skills, by offering them for all occasions from weddings, a night out or pinup contests. “I love giving people a chance to see themselves in a new way, whether it's all glammed up or looking like they are from another era, it's just so fun!”

We had a blast working with her when she photographed our products at the SPCA. Yes, she does it all!
