Our story - About Cats Like Us

Cats Like Us® est. 2009 is a retro and vintage style clothing boutique selling a unique selection of fashions with classic styles from the 1940's, 50's, and 60's. The retro clothes are in modern fabrics and some in contemporary sizes ranging from XS to XXXXL. (AND you can search by size on our website!) We also carry a hand-picked selection of actual vintage pieces too, and are unlike any other boutique in Western New York!

We are an honest-to-goodness, American as mom and apple pie Main Street USA store, and we just happen to have an online retro style clothing store too! And since we deal with good folks every day we know what customer service is. Not only that, but we are real people running the show, so send us a sensible email and you will get a sensible reply right away!

Julie Ann hand picks every item we sell based on style, quality, reputation of the companies, and reviews it for quality and value. So unlike some other stores that sell everything under the sun by such-and-such brand, we only pick the best of the best--which means you win!

In 2024 we closed our public retail location, but we continue to sell online.

TL;DR:

When you shop with us, you are supporting a small business that is woman run, promotes racial justice, and is open to all. We spend our money in the community we live in and support other businesses and artists in the area.

We also support animal charities like the SPCA. Support a local animal shelter near you -- they need your help!
