1960s Raspberry Wool Skirt Suit
Ready for a classic 2 piece suit that never goes out of style? This early 1960s skirt suit comes with a cropped boxy blazer, and an a-line skirt with a nylon side zipper and hooks and eyes at the waist. The jacket is collarless with 3/4 length sleeves, faux hip pockets, and large abstract buttons down the front. Both pieces are fully lined. It is in good condition, bottom button is chipped, small spots on hem on the front and back of the skirt, and possible spots between the buttons? but hard to tell because of the textured fabric. Unlabeled, fabric is wool tweed, lining feels like acetate. The bust of the jacket measures 42 inches, the skirt waist 32 inches and the hips 46 inches. Shown on a dress form measuring Bust 42", Waist 32", Hips 43 1/2". Length of jacket 22 inches, length of skirt 26 inches. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that was cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size.
