1960s Periwinkle Fuzzy Beret

Look like a vintage starlet in this 1960s Periwinkle Fuzzy Beret! It's fuzzy angora with a grosgrain ribbon and bow. It's in excellent condition. It measures 20.5 inches around the inside and is labeled "Kangol, Made in England design, Kangol furgora Mayfair". Kangol was started in the UK by a Polish immigrant named Jacques Sergene. He made wool berets for the British army during WWII. In the 1960s he designed hats for the Beatles and worked with mod designer Mary Quant. This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
