1950s Ship Ahoy Flag Dress
This vintage 1950s Novelty Ship Ahoy Flag Dress is sure to make a statement. It's white with different, red, yellow, and blue flags throughout, and "Ship Ahoy" in different languages. It's an interjection used to attract attention to the presence of another vessel. You'll be attracting attention in this for sure! It's a classic style in a fit and flare shape with gathered skirt waist, attached contrasting blue belt that buckles in the back, matching bolero jacket, and center metal zipper. Unlabeled, feels like cotton. In good condition, yellowing around bottom hem, down both sides, and shoulders. Mild basement odor that didn't come out when washed. The Bust measures 35 inches, 25 inch Waist, Hips full, Length 45 inches. Shown on a dress form measuring B 33 1/2", W 21 1/2", H 34". This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that was cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size.
