1950s Brown Check Dress Set

This is a gorgeous 1950s dress and jacket set. The dress is a cap sleeve sheath style with a metal back zipper, right side hip pocket, and small v-neck, the jacket is cropped 3/4 length sleeve and double breasted with large fabric covered buttons. The dress fabric is brown with a window check pattern in green and purple. It's in excellent condition, missing belt. Unlabeled, very soft and feels like a cotton blend, unlined. The bust of the dress measures 36 inches, the waist 25 inches and the hips 40 inches. Shown on a dress form that measures B33 1/2" W21 1/2" H34". This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that was cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have, this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size.
