1940s Style Wild Flowers Tie

One of the best ways to achieve a vintage look, is with a vintage tie. The patterns and quality are unlike anything you see out there today. Wide neckties were fashionable in the 1940s, first among Zoot suiters rebelling against wartime austerity, and later as part of the "Bold Look" worn by World War II veterans returning to civilian life. This tie is from the 1970s when wide ties made a comeback. It's white with a border print design of wild flowers in orange, burgundy, and yellow on a blue background. It is in excellent condition, small spots on underside not noticeable from the front. Labeled "Exclusive fabric, Don Loper of California, 100% imported polyester". The tie measures 4 inches at it's widest part and about 56 inches long. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
