1970s Brown Cord 3pc Suit
Ready for a classic 3 piece suit that never goes out of style? Perfect for mixing and matching! This 1970s set comes with a blazer, pants, and skirt. The jacket is an oversized style with two hip pockets and the original buttons in the front. The pants are a classic design with nylon front zipper and button closure with a straight leg, and the skirt is an a-line shape with buttons down the front, elastic at the side waist and pockets. All the pieces are in excellent condition, the blazer has a couple loose threads under the seam of the right armpit, and the pants might have also had elastic on them like the skirt, but it's stretched out? Label on all the pieces read "Vera" with her signature ladybug logo. Fabric feels like wide wale cotton corduroy. Vera Neumann was primarily a scarf designer to start with, then turned to textiles. Although not her usual bold design, this set can be mixed and matched with her prints. The logo is dated late 1970s, early 1980s. The bust of the jacket is 40 inches, length 26 inches, and shoulder seam to shoulder seam 16 inches. The pants have a 30 inch waist, 39 inch hip, 12 1/2 inch rise, 29 1/2 inch inseam, and a total length of 40 1/2 inches. The skirt has a 26-30 inch waist and measures 27 1/2 inches long. Julie Ann's measurements are Bust 34B Waist 26" Hip 36" and she's 5'6". This is an authentic vintage set in wearable condition, that was cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size. Brooch and shirt sold separately.
