1960s Novelty Polka Dot Light & Lantern Dress

This dress will light up your life! It's a classic purple and white polka dot shirt dress with short puff sleeves, two buttons at the waist, but the best part is the pockets! On one side the pocket has a picture of a female oil lamp, and on the other is a male lantern with a candle. I think they are in love. Labeled "A Kitchen Formal by Princess Peggy, 100% cotton, 15/16" RN 14847. It's in excellent condition except for fading at the top of the sleeves. The Bust measures 40 inches, 28 inch Waist, 50 inch Hips, 42 inch Length. Arm holes don't stretch and measure 12 inches around. Shown on a dress form measuring Bust 36 inches, Waist 25 inches, Hips 36 inches. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
