It's in excellent condition, signed "D'Orlan", from the 1980s, Made in Canada handset Swarovski crystals. The D’Orlan Jewelry Ltd. Company was founded by Maurice J. Bradden in 1957 manufacturing fashion jewelry in Toronto, Canada. The D’Orlan jewelry designs produced used the finest hand set Austrian crystals and rhinestones and Japanese glass pearls. Their jewelry lines were unique insofar as most manufacturing companies buy components from other companies and simply put them together. D’Orlan manufactured everything at their factory except Japanese glass polished pearls and Austrian crystals and rhinestones. The stones are embedded in a triple plated 22 kt. gold finish over pewter base metal that ensured a consistency of color that was developed by the D’Orlan and Nina Ricci companies. Measures 1 1/4 inches wide. This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
