70s does 1940s N Tie
One of the best ways to achieve a vintage look, is with a vintage tie. The patterns and quality are unlike anything you see out there today. Wide neckties were fashionable in the 1940s, first among Zoot suiters rebelling against wartime austerity, and later as part of the "Bold Look" worn by World War II veterans returning to civilian life. This tie is from the 1970s when wide ties made a comeback. The print is brown and white "N"s that form a pattern. It is in excellent vintage condition. It's labeled "1971 David Hicks for Brittania, Burdine's 22 East". David Hicks was an English interior decorator and designer and had a lot of famous clientele. The tie measures 4.5 inches at it's widest part and about 55.5 inches long. This is an authentic one of a kind vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned.
