Pixie Elf Gnome Nail Brooch

This is a novelty brooch sure to make people ask questions. Is it a pixie, elf, gnome, leprechaun, or devil? Why are they holding a sword that way? Or are they tiny and holding a nail? My guess is it's a repair elf helping fix something! It's gold tone with blue and black enamel details. It is in very good condition, minor enamel wear, pin bar is a little loose but still works perfectly, it's unmarked and measures 1 3/4 inches tall. This is an authentic piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
