1970s Griffin Wheel Anniversary Belt Buckle

Belt buckles are a great way to show off your style and interests and they took off with commercial success in the 1970s. This belt buckle is pewter with a griffin on the front, measures 2 1/2 inches around, stamped "1877-1977 100 years of service to the railroads, Great American Buckle Co Chicago, Griffin Wheel Co., serial 1877". It's in good to fair condition, scuffs and discoloration from age as pictured, enamel chipped on the bottom front, it's well loved but still solid. This is an authentic vintage buckle in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary).
