Visit Cats Like Us and the #retroblocktonawanda during the first Carnegie Art Spree Festival! The Carnegie Art Spree is a new juried art street festival spanning from North Tonawanda on Webster Street across the Renaissance Bridge to Canal Street in the City of Tonawanda. Smoking Hot Bags is the creation of local artists Leanne & Bill, once customers of mine and now friends, come and see their handbag creations on Saturday, May 21 from 12-5pm at Cats Like Us. Smoking Hot Bags are made from upcycled cigar boxes and sometimes wine boxes. Each is unique and hand painted. Leanne's specialty is horror movie designs, but she can create custom ones to match any style.
