Green Triple Faceted Necklace
This is a gorgeous green triple strand necklace. It has green tone aurora borealis, beads, yellow pearls, and dark green faceted beads. It has a rhinestone detailed adjustable clasp, and is stamped "Continental". In 1943, Sam Baker and Sol Mayoff became partners and set up shop in a 500 square-foot store front in a Vieux Montreal building. In 1947 already well known as Continental Jewellery, the small firm began to manufacture rhinestone articles which were all the rage at the time. The ever growing demand forced them to move into a larger space. In 1951, Continental Jewellery became the largest, manufacturer of mid-priced rhinestone jewellery in the country. Wear it with a T-shirt or dress and everything in between! The necklace measures about 14-17 inches long, and it's in excellent vintage condition. This is an authentic one of a kind piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE item and cannot be returned.
