Mr. Booze says, "If you're going for that almost off-worldly, kitschy, hotel-vibe, then the Blue Hawaiian is your drink". It's blue, it's loud and it's so easy to make! If you're having a Tiki party this summer (or anytime for that matter), the Blue Hawaiian is sure to please all your guests.
Ingredients:
1 oz. Light rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao liqueur (this puts the 'blue' in Blue Hawaiian)
2 oz. Pineapple juice
1 oz. Creme' of Coconut
Method:
You can blend all the ingredients with cracked ice in a blender or you can shake with a cocktail shaker with ice and pour into a glass. Garnish with pineapple slice and a cherry.
For added bonus kitschy fun, you can watch Elvis' Blue Hawaii while sipping on your tropical libations, they are always ordering Blue Hawaiian cocktails in the movie!
