"A nerdy florist finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant man-eating plant who demands to be fed."-IMDb
If you're familiar with this off-beat 1986 musical version of Little Shop of Horrors, you know that it's quirky and outrageous! Based on the original 1960 low-budget horror comedy of the same name, composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman transformed this gem into a off-off-broadway musical (then broadway) that later became the 1986 film version directed by Frank Oz.
Little Shop of Horrors is described by IMDb as, "A nerdy florist finds his chance for success and romance with the help of a giant man-eating plant who demands to be fed." Of course, this is just a general description of the film and plot, but I will describe it as retro fashion eye candy...and hilarious too!
Bouffant hair and tight wiggle dresses and don't forget the leopard print heels!
She's lookin' mighty fine for being on "skid row".
I can't forget all her lovely outfits when she's singing, "Somewhere That's Green".
Or all her lovely looks!

Though he's demented, Steven Martin aka 'The Dentist' looks pretty darn good in a leather motorcyle jacket. I personally love the dentist's musical parts, 50's doo-wop of doom!

There is no denying that the back-up singers help to make this musical that much more vivid. Their style, dancing and bouffant hair styles with matching outfits are pure 1960s eye candy!
Gotta love matchy-matchy 60s girl group style!
If you love the fashions in the movie, here are some Audrey-inspired choices!
