Trick or Treat with Cats Like Us

The Halloween season is here and Cats Like Us has many options to help you get into the spirit of the holiday. Save your money by not buying those bagged costumes and treat yourself to some amazing pieces that can be incorporated into your wardrobe well after the Halloween season! With a little imagination, make up and a wig, or a prop here and there, Cats Like Us has some bewitching ideas just for you!
Hey sailor! An adorable sailor costume is easy, check out the Motley Sailor 50s Dress by Hell Bunny, paired with a mini sailor hat, and the Anchor Hoop Earrings by Sourpuss Clothing. This costume would be perfect for a work party, a Halloween swing dance, or to where all year long! Add the Cream Lace Cardigan by Switchblade Stiletto for those chilly October evenings.
"Lucy I'm home!". Julie Ann suggested you embrace the Vanda Polka Dot Swing Dress by Hell Bunny as the base for your Lucille Ball 'I Love Lucy' costume. Don't forget a Knee Length White Crinoline by Leg Avenue to give your dress that extra 'poof'!
Hey Bonnie, where's Clyde? Do you remember that dynamic bank robbing duo, well steal some inspiration from them by dressing with a little 'public enemy' edge.... and no and I don't mean the rap group. *Wink* Now, we don't encourage you to literally rob a bank, and at Cats Like Us they won't rob your wallet either.

Though Bettie is an inspiration for this Halloween costume, I don't reccommend running around in your nudies, let's keep that for the bedroom. *Wink* Yet, invoking the pin up spirit of Miss Page is just what the Cats Like Us doctor has ordered. Slip into some leopard print, a slinky black dress and some high, high heels to pay homage to queen of pin up's, Miss Bettie Page.
I like to think that 'Everyday is Halloween' and keeping the spooky spirit all year around is easy with; hair clips, belt buckles, movie monster t-shirts, and clothing covered in cute bats. 1 part Licor 43® liqueur
1 part Orange Curacao liqueur
1 part cream
Carefully layer on top of each other to resemble the halloween candy. First the Licor 43, then the orange curacao, then finally the cream.

How timely...I was just telling a friend I may dress up as Lucy (as in Ball not Van Pelt). I completely forgot about the crinoline I purchased from Cats Like Us. My costume just got better!
